Its been a very busy year at The InnerWorkings Luxury Packaging Division and the past few months have highlighted some of this year’s great success stories. Firstly, a great night at The Luxury Packaging Awards resulted in winners across 3 categories; ‘Best Technical Achievement’, ‘Best Special Edition Pack’, And ‘Best in Show’.
The Camus Cognac Extra Elegance was awarded the ‘technical achievement’, a true testament to the innovation and luxurious DNA behind both the product and the pack. This ‘technically’ flawless pack for this exceptional blend of eaux-de-vie was realised and produced by the INWK LPD in partnership with the Camus brand. Nicknamed ‘the famous four’- owing to its key features of disappearing doors, a metal opening pack, a through-by-light pack, and its windowed aperture – the Camus pack is a fine example of a luxury provider combining with a luxury brand to realise a new, unique and outstanding concept. The award is likely to continue to spark discussion within the luxury drinks industry surrounding the importance of product presentation. Supported by InnerWorkings, Camus are proving to be a key player and pioneer in this discipline, of which the market will no doubt take a keen interest in future developments.
Secondly, winning both ‘Best Special Edition Pack’ and ‘Best in Show’ was The Macallan Genesis Special Edition pack produced by the INWK LPD for The Edrington Group. This limited edition pack marks the creation of the iconic distillery in a unique collaboration with internationally acclaimed architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. The attention to detail on this pack including the foiling and magnets set within the ribbons, really matches the intricately well thought out nature of The Macallan brand and of course the new distillery.
