Edrington’s Overall Supplier of the Year for the second year running

After a hectic first half of 2017, it has been very difficult to look back at the success of 2016. However, we are delighted to announce we have been awarded ‘Overall Supplier of the Year’ for Edrington for a second year running. At InnerWorkings, we strive to create stunning designs and deliver top quality luxury packaging, resulting in numerous awards over the years. However, the true mark of success is not necessarily awards for one-off designs but recognition for a consistently high level of creativity, quality and service, and this award epitomizes just that.

Edrington, the maker of some of the world’s best loved Scotch whiskies and other premium spirits, hosted their Suppliers’ Awards ceremony at the fabulous Piping Centre in Glasgow, at the end of May. After initially being awarded a ‘Gold Supplier’ award, the climax and finale of the day was being recognised as their ‘Overall Supplier of the Year’.

According to Edrington, these prestigious awards reflect our ‘consistency of performance and commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.

When presenting the award, Paul Robinson, Director of Strategic Procurement & Brands Packaging at Edrington Group said:

“Once again, our winners this year have continued to prove themselves as highly flexible and innovative in their approach to the numerous and varied challenges with which we presented

them, whether it be a complex design challenge or a very tight development or delivery timescale – they are highly professional and extremely helpful.

“They are very open and easy to work with and when things get tough we can depend on them to pull out all the stops to get us what we need, when we need it. They don’t make promises they cannot keep……but when they make a promise they will deliver.

To mark the achievement, Edrington presented us with a cask filled with very special Scotch whisky.

Speaking about the award, Simon Bell said,

“In order to receive such a fantastic accolade the whole team has to take pride in everything we do, from taking and interpreting the brief, all the way through to delivering top quality packaging on time and to budget

“It was an incredibly proud moment for us and an endorsement that the high standards we set ourselves continue to be recognised by our clients.”
